the profound mysteries of Jesus, His call for His people, and the ultimate triumph of the gospel. To be blessed for “heed[ing] the things which are written in the book,” we face one obstacle: we must understand what the book means and discern how to apply it to our lives. This is our goal: to learn to interpret the book of Revelation in light of its original meaning so that we might learn to apply its message to our lives and thus more faithfully “follow the Lamb wherever He goes” (14:4).
